“You can only become truly accomplished at something you love. Don’t make money your goal. Instead pursue the things you love doing and then do them so well that people can’t take their eyes off of you.” Maya Angelou
Inspired – In-Spirit means ensuring that our inner flame is shining brightly. We know that feeling when our eyes are twinkling and our hearts are smiling. Moments when we feel so inspired and empowered – ideas flow through us and we are so eager and willing to go with them. The more we allow our Spirit to shine by moving in that direction, the more inSpired and inSpiring is our life.
What do you love love love ? Music, dancing, cooking, gardening, laughing with loved ones, sunsets, surfing… Make a list, a freeflowing list of everything that makes your heart sing – If a thought makes you happy, you know you’re on the right track!
Moving closer in that direction every day… A little more and More and MORE of what we Love and LESS, Less, less of what we don’t – daily. As simple as adding a stroll a day (Einstein said he had his best ideas whilst walking!) might change our life. Connecting with our Spirit is our way of connecting to Source energy. All creation stems from that place of deep deep flow. When time flies and we are so concentrated on an activity that we feel filled up and satisfied on emerging. Dr. Maria Montessori called this “normalisation” in children. She explained that this was the beginning of learning.
As we tap into what truly fascinates us, our life begins. The energy we derive from pursuing these natural interests keeps us open to more. Ideas build up and eventually, we piece it together – Our deepest Truth. And from that Truth emerges our most inSpired life.
Thomas Edison said “I never did a day’s work in my life. It was all fun.” How often do we hear that from the most successful people. So loving what we do that we would do it anyway 🙂
One small step everyday in the direction of what feels good is the recipe. Just google-searching something you love is a start… And one action a day leads to another and another. And somehow, the Universe joins in to support that energy by opening the right doors. Helpful people begin to show up. It’s the concept of when the student is ready, the teacher appears.
Socrates said “Know Thyself.” That is the beginning of the journey.
