Rania Lababidy has a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education from NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development. She also holds the Montessori Early Childhood Credential (American Montessori Society). She has taught extensively in New York City across both the public and private school systems. Rania founded KidsMeridian in Paris in 2008 to support European schools, in opening up to the more creative and wider perspectives of early childhood education.
Rania grew up in London, attending the French Lycee and then St Paul’s Girls’ School. She received her B.A. from Wellesley College in International Relations and was recruited on campus to the world of investment banking. She began her finance career with Merrill Lynch in New York. For over a decade, she marketed the exciting growth of Asia to UK and European institutions, watching China grow from a bicycle adventure to some of the tallest, biggest and best ideas for the 21st Century! In 2004, she returned to NYC as a Director with Deutsche Bank. And, in the Big Apple, Rania remembered to follow her heart…
Rania has a Yoga Teachers Certification, Christie’s Fine Art Diplomas in Antiques, Gemology and Opera and a Pru Leith Cooking Diploma. She incorporates all of the above in her teaching… and writing!
