Genius Kids Flash Cards

Eric Carle is a genius in general.  His artwork is super captivating to children.  Many of his books are now classics, translated across the world.  The caterpillar from The Very Hungry Caterpillar book emerges in these phonemic flash cards, as do quite a few other animals the children may already be acquainted with.  The cards show the alphabet letter on one side, both capital and print, while displaying an animal whose name matches the beginning sound.  The children love love love this deck.  The cards are solid and can tolerate a lot of pulling around.  Mostly, these cards are great for sounding the letters while the kids guess the animal on the other side.  They are also a great learning tool for second language learners, as animal vocabulary is gathered whilst phonemic sounds are re-iterated.  A really well-rounded card deck, that children can enjoy learning from, even on their own.
